Hi there! As an elementary teacher and reading specialist, I know firsthand how many children struggle with reading and spelling. This course is specifically designed for parents of struggling or beginning readers and spellers. It is designed to teach you how to teach your child if they struggle or are new at word-level reading.This means that your child is still developing the skills of reading and spelling words accurately and fluently. If your child is already an accurate and fluent reader, this course will not be beneficial for you.

After purchasing the course what can I expect?

Schools should teach your child to read and spell, but that isn't always the case. Kids who have reading and spelling difficulties need extra support and additional practice. If you are equipped with the knowledge to help them at home, you can ensure that they get the support they need. 2/3 of 4th graders in America aren't reading at a proficient level and 1/3 of 4th graders aren't reading at an even basic level. Making sure that your child gets extra help at home will ensure that they are successful.

My child is already getting help at school, isn't that enough?

The training will equip you with all of the knowledge you need to teach as many lessons as you need to with your child. You'll know how to help your child read both simple and complex words. You will learn how to structure every lesson with your child. You'll be able to help your child read and spell accurately and fluently.
